Stadia held the latest Stadia Connect on the August 19th and made several game announcements.  The headliner is that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Stadia however it did just say in 2020 so we do not know if it will come to Stadia at launch.  We also got to see a new exclusive title in Orcs Must Die 3 a number of Indie games and Destroy all Humans.

The reaction to the Stadia Connect has been mixed.  My initial reaction was one of being underwhelmed however after having time to digest the Connect the problem with it wasn’t the games it was the ordering of the Connect.  The Connect started out with the biggest game announcement and ended by repeating games we already knew about.  They needed to end with Cyberpunk and should off started with another new game and mixed up the announcements throughout the rest of the Connect. This was the main problem with the Connect by raising expectations at the start with no bang at the end.
